Using RAS

Introduction

Setup

1. Make sure that the modem was detected and installed through Plug and Play: Click on Start | Settings | Control Panel, and double-click on the Phone & Modem Options icon
2. Create a new RAS connection through Start | Settings | Control Pane, and double-click on the Network & Dial-up Connection icon, followed by a double-click on the Make New Connection icon
3. In the Network Connection Wizard, select Dial-up to private network (Dial-up to the Internet?)
